Research simplified, communities amplified.
About me
I live with my family on Gumbaynggirr Country (Bellingen) on the NSW Mid North Coast, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Below is a photo from a local camping trip, taken at a secret waterfall I’m sworn not to reveal.

I’m passionate about social change and have a strong sense of justice. I’m drawn to work that feels purposeful.

My academic career has given me the opportunity to pursue meaningful work, but after nearly a decade in research, I felt the pull back to community. I’ve always found the greatest fulfilment in work that happens on the ground, where I can see ideas turn into impact.

My academic work
I started my journey with a degree in Psychology, and it was during my Honours year that I discovered a deep interest in research. My Honours project explored how host communities understand refugee resettlement, and was recognised with the Australian Psychological Society's Psychologists for Peace Research Award (2016).

I went on to complete a postgraduate research degree in social psychology, where I investigated how paediatric organ donation is understood outside of medical settings; a complex and sensitive topic that sparked my ongoing interest in public perceptions and behaviour. I was awarded a Masters by Research in 2022.

Since 2016, I’ve been part of a long-term research program focused on increasing registrations on the Australian Organ Donor Register, contributing to multiple peer-reviewed publications and advancing national understanding in this space. Although much of my academic work has centred around organ donation decision-making, it’s given me broader expertise in the theories that explain how people think, feel, and behave, as well as advanced skills in both qualitative and quantitative research. Alongside my research, I also teach undergraduate psychology and supervise Honours students, which keeps me closely connected to the academic world.

Because my background is grounded in social research and psychology rather than market research, my freelance work is underpinned by principles of ethics, transparency, informed consent, and collaboration. If I’m working with your community, clients, or customers, they’ll be treated with care and respect, every step of the way.
